Life Nutrition Academy
Hey there! I’m Mina, born in 1994, and currently living in the Netherlands. My journey started as a nurse, specializing in anesthesia. I spent a year working in the operating room, which was both challenging and rewarding. I was part of moments like helping people in pain and seeing a mom hold her baby for the very first time—priceless experiences. But deep down, I knew I wanted to do more. I wanted to help people *before* they ended up in the hospital or on an operating table. I started seeing how many health issues could be prevented with better lifestyle choices—so that instead of facing pain, people could be enjoying life with their loved ones.
So, I took a leap and became a dietitian. Why food? Well, I believe that what we eat is one of the most powerful things we can control when it comes to our health. Plus, let’s be honest—I’m obsessed with food! 🍽️ It felt like the perfect mix: following my passion for health and my love for all things delicious. You could say it’s a "win-win"—or in my case, a "yum-yum!" 😄
I went back to school for a second bachelor’s degree, and I ended up graduating at the top of my department (and second in my whole faculty!). Not because I’m some kind of genius, but because I was finally studying something I was truly passionate about. Learning about food, our body, cultures, and the science behind it was exciting and meaningful to me—it wasn’t just about passing exams.
During my seventh semester, I got accepted into a master’s program at Maastricht University, which brought me to the Netherlands. That program opened my eyes even more about food, nutrition, and why people choose to eat what they do.
Having lived in Iran, studied in Cyprus, and now living in Europe, I’ve been lucky enough to experience different cuisines and cultures. One thing I noticed? No matter where you are, most people don’t really get taught about food. I think that’s a shame! As the saying goes, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” — and I think we should all be given the tools to make better choices from the start. Food education should be part of every school curriculum because our health, happiness, and quality of life depend on it. And every bite we take makes a difference.
That’s where I come in—I’m here to help you navigate the world of food. Whether you’re scrolling through social media, reading about the latest nutrition trends, or staring at the ingredients on a food label, I want you to feel confident and empowered. No more confusion, guilt, or second-guessing—just informed, healthy, and delicious choices (yes, you don’t need to compromise on taste) for you and your family. And maybe a little bit of fun along the way! 🌱✨
